I think she was able to get money back from kroger b/c the laundry soap was only $1 and the coupon she had was $1.50 off hahaha mbl

Today, my mom went to Walmart to buy some lettuce but came back with about 10 bags of groceries in her hand and said "I was only suppose to buy the lettuce but I couldn't stop myself." MBL.

I didn't feel like playing on my high school basketball team anymore. Instead of quitting the team months ago, I waited till I got my free basketball shoes and then quit. MBL.

Today my brown friend gave me a present for my birthday. She put my gift in the same gift bag that I gave her on her birthday. MBL.

Today we moved into a new house and my brother yells out in excitement "I GOT FREE INTERNET!!" My mom made him mango lassi for doing something amazing for our family, when in reality he just stole our neighbors internet. MBL.

Today, I went to an Indian supermarket and noticed that their shopping carts had the Walmart logo on them. MBL.

Today, my mom bought some jeans from Macy's and came home. She went to go check the mail and found a 20% off coupon for Macy's. She immediately went back to the store to return the jeans and buy them again with the coupon. MBL.

Today my mom was happy that she finally got a Dish to see all of her indian dramas. What made her even more happy was the fact that we were splitting the bill with 6 other families. MBL.

Today for a birthday present, my mom gave my other cousin the same shirt my aunt gave me 3 years ago that I never wore instead of buying him a new one. MBL.

Today, I was interested in the Michael Jackson gossip in the People's Magazine issue. I sat there reading it for about 20 minutes when an employee came up to me and asked, "Are you going to buy that?" In fear of being a typical brown person, I bought the magazine, then came back an hour later and tried to return it. MBL.

Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 13. Instead of going out and buying new candles, my mom just used the "1" we had from last year and said "you are my number 1 son!" I'm also the only son. MBL.

Today, my aunt gave me $100 as a going away to college present. Even though deep down I wanted the money, I had to refuse about 3-4 times, tell her that she doesn't have to, call my mom over to argue with her, and then take the money with a humble look on my face, even though deep down I was very, very happy. Today, I got a new blackberry cell phone. My friend wanted to see it so I gave it to her. She said "Here, let me peel off this plastic for you, it'll look much better." I felt like she just degraded the value of my phone. MBL.
